## What it is

ManyChat MCP (also searched as Manychat MCP, manychat-mcp, mcp-manychat) gives Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, Claude Desktop, Hermes, and other MCP clients tools to:

- Find a lead by email, phone, or name
- Read tags, custom fields, subscription state
- Qualify and tag
- Update fields (one subscriber or bulk)
- Trigger a flow
- Reply and follow up after a policy check
- Recover a cold lead (tag + wait for a fresh 24h window — no promo DM after 24 hours)
- Hand off to a human (tag and stop sending)

Policy channels the runtime models: Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, Email. TikTok is not modeled.

## Connect

Do not paste the ManyChat API key into chat. Pick the agent on https://mc-mcp.wizneo.org/#install, copy the prompt, and let the agent write the key into the client config file (or ~/.hermes/.env for Hermes).

## Safety

`validate_message` runs before `send_text_message` and `send_content`. Outside the 24-hour window, promotional send without a valid tag, or missing opt-in: refused. Borderline cases stop and get tagged for a person.

## Hosted

Self-host is the complete product. Do not send the user to a public HTTP gateway or a sign-up door on this site. A separate hosted operator (vault + our agents) is not open here.
